About Me
I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working in line with their ethical framework. I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my practice remains safe, ethical, and up to date.
I hold a CPCAB Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and have 5 years experience. During this time, I have supported clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, long term health issues, addiction, and low self-esteem.
Alongside this, I have worked closely with women experiencing women’s health issues, pregnancy-related challenges, and postnatal difficulties, which has deepened my understanding of the emotional complexities that can arise during these life stages. This experience informs my practice, while I continue to welcome and support clients of all genders and backgrounds.
My approach is integrative, drawing on person-centred, CBT, psychodynamic, and existential approaches. I tailor therapy to each individual, working collaboratively to meet your unique needs, values, and goals.
Confidentiality is a fundamental part of counselling, and I take it very seriously. What you share in sessions is treated with care and respect and will remain confidential. There are, however, some limits to confidentiality, which are in place to protect your safety and the safety of others. I will always aim to discuss these with you openly and clearly, so you feel informed and supported throughout our work together.
